Cool Tunes for a Hot Planet is a collective effort by a small team of dedicated musicians (mostly) and  two videographers who are members of ThirdAct.org/creatives.

In each episode we share songs to inspire action for climate and social justice. Our music runs the gamut from poignant to funny, folk, hip and more. Our hosts offer context on the music. Often  the singer-songwriters themselves talk about the inspiration or other background information on their song.

We drop a new episode on the first of the month plus a Global Notes episode at mid-month. Warren Senders hosts this deep-dive interview-format episode which focuses on a person, a song or a subject. It’s the national geographic of music!
